Gilmaved: The Third Son of Eden

Prologue

And the Creator caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept;  and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof. With the rib that he took of man, the Creator made a woman and He brought her unto man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman,  because she was taken out of Man. From then on, man shall cleave unto his wife for they are of one flesh and one soul; half and a half of each other.  They were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

The Creator, pleased with his art, gave Man and Woman the freedom and sovereignty over the garden. They lived in great abundance and there was no need to till the land. They drank the water from the river which flows into the rivers of Pison, Gihon and Hid'dekel. They were allowed to eat of all the trees in the garden except for one: the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Shall they eat it, they shall surely die.

Asmodai, was jealous of the Creator's favor towards man. He wore the skin of a serpent and beguiled woman into eating the forbidden fruit. Asmodai said unto the woman that she shall not die of eating the fruit but instead will be like the Creator who knows good and evil. The woman, seeing that the tree was good for food and to be desired as it makes one wise took one fruit and did eat it. She also gave one unto her husband and he did eat.

And the eyes of both of them were opened and they saw that they were naked. They sew the leaves of the fig tree to cover their nakedness.

The Creator casted out man and his wife from the garden for their disobedience. Asmodai was pleased and rejoiced for his victory. Man and his offsprings shall grow old, suffer and eventually dielike the Creator had said. They were from dust. And so, to dust they shall return.

The garden was lonely without man to tend unto it, so the Creator made another man and called him Gilmaved. He carved the symbol of infinity unto Gilmaved's back as a sign that he shall live forever.
