The reason I made this site is because:
- I am paranoid that AFF will crash again, no matter how the admins assure us that our stories are backed up.
- I have nothing else good to do... or maybe I do but then again, I love to procrastinate.
I started writing when I was about nine or ten years old but that doesn't really qualify as creative writing since I only wrote sports news for student journalism competitions. When I entered high-school (I was twelve) I became the literary editor of our school paper. Although I did nothing aside from poetry (both in English and Filipino) and copy-read for all the other writers (who were all older than me), I consider this the triggering factor of me wanting to be a writer. I held the position for two years until I got promoted as the associate editor in my junior year. If you would ask me what it is like to write editorials then I would tell you it's like dangling out your virtual balls out there to be feasted on by alligators. To cut the story short, I was almost expelled. But miraculously, I still became the editor in chief on my senior year.
Fan fiction writing knocked on my door when I was about seventeen. I only wrote crack and nonsense to entertain my friends and never took anything seriously. But due to many other things (namely singing, dancing, and occasionally studying) I totally forgot about my passion for writing. It was only in July 2011 that I rediscovered my love/obsession when I chanced upon finding AFF.
Asianfanfics is actually a good site. I like the interface, the simplicity and the ease to find the stories of your choice. It was only later on that I found out that you have to wade through a pile of verbal shit to find good stories that you would actually want to read. But that flaw aside, I have learned to love AFF and all the friends I made there.

I tend to take my writing a little too seriously because I do want to be a published author one day. The reason why I stick to writing Kpop fan fiction is that it constitute two things that I love the most, writing and Kpop. I am yet to write a full blown story with all original characters.
